The Myth of Amnesia

This solo exhibition examines how colonial histories of power and privilege continue to echo through the present.

Through printmaking, collage, embroidery, and zine-making, it reconstructs forgotten fragments from historical archives — from cigarette albums to encyclopaedias — reimagining them as tactile records of resistance.

The Printing Girls 

“Ebb and Flow; Rewilding the Feminine” is the theme of the first show of the Printing girls as part of the Kalfiefees arts festival in Hermanus this year.  

It's mission is to

celebrate and showcase South African talent, promote creativity, and offer a unique cultural experience to festival goers. The Kalfiefees is the celebration of the whale mothers giving birth along their annual migratory routes.

Contra.Fair (formerly Joburg Open Studios) is a two day immersive visual arts experience across the central Joburg CBD area. A range of studios are open to the public connected by shuttle buses.
